Testing in France with Schaeffler & Revolte Garages
On the last week of February our Connected Vehicle Field Test expanded across Europe with a session at Revolte, e-garages in Nantes, France, in collaboration with Schaeffler. Revolte, known for its expertise in electric and hybrid vehicles, partnered with us to simulate vehicle errors and assess them using both traditional and remote diagnostics.
Here’s an example of our findings:
Traditional Diagnostic Insights:
- CCU (Combined Charging Unit) – DTC: 224F81 => AC charge: Fonction non disponible (Intermittent)
- DTC: 031B93 => Charge: erreur de charge détectée par la gestion des charges (Intermittent)
-
Remote Diagnostic Insights:
- ECU: ccu_01 Combined Charging Unit, DTC: 2248577 (AC charging: Function not available)
- ECU: ccu_01 Combined Charging Unit, DTC: 203667 (Load: Charging error due to charge management detected)
The alignment between traditional and remote diagnostic results highlights that remote diagnostics technology is already viable and operational today! We are currently refining the pilot phase and preparing our final report.
A big thank you to our amazing partners from Schaeffler: Jan Bambas, Ronald GAMERE, Oscar Lopez Perez, Janine Girke from Schaeffler Vehicle Lifetime Solutions, and Jeremie Noirot, Florian Eon at Revolte Garages. Your collaboration and dedication have been crucial in driving this innovation forward.
